Compliance Questions
What certificates do toys need to be imported to the USA?
Toys for the US must comply with CPSIA and ASTM F963 and ship with a Children's Product Certificate (CPC) backed by testing at a CPSC-accepted lab, plus permanent tracking labels. Under-3 toys must pass small-parts testing.
What is EN71 and CE marking?
EN 71 is the European toy safety standard (mechanical, flammability, chemical migration). Toys sold in the EU need CE marking and an EU Declaration of Conformity under the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC.
Can you provide tested, certified toys?

Toy Compliance for the U.S. Market: ASTM F963, CPSIA & CPC
Selling toys into the U.S. means meeting CPSC-administered requirements. ASTM F963 is the mandatory consumer safety specification (mechanical/physical hazards, flammability, certain chemical limits). CPSIA sets lead/phthalate limits for children's products and requires third-party testing and certification. Clarification on "certified": no single body certifies a toy — the manufacturer or importer issues a Children's Product Certificate (CPC) based on testing by a CPSC-accepted third-party lab, plus a permanent tracking label. As a trading company, require valid third-party test reports, a properly completed CPC and compliant labeling for each product, and keep documentation on file. Verify current requirements against CPSC guidance and the applicable standards rather than a general claim of being "certified."
